Charles Barey Middleton, Jr.
Charles Barey Middleton, Jr., on Feb. 23, 2012, age 67, of Moorestown, NJ. Barey was a lifelong resident of Moorestown and was a graduate of Moorestown High School, Class of '63' where he excelled in Track and Cross Country and holds a school record for the half mile. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1967-71 and received his degree in Business Administration in 1980 from Rutgers University. Barey was a Life Member of the Relief Engine Company in Moorestown, served as Captain from 1977 - 1983 and served as Assistant Chief of the Moorestown Fire Dept. from 1989 - 1995. He was an Exempt and Life Member of the New Jersey State Firemen's Assn. Barey retired from the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office after 21 years of service as a Detective. He had a passion for sailing and being around the water.
Husband of Maria (nee DiSante), Father of Kevin Middleton and Megan Middleton.
